  MRS. GEORGE E. MARKER
    
    Carrie (Babe) Marker, 75, of Rockwood RD 1, died August 6, 1975, in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Dec. 9, 1899, in Garrett, she was a
  daughter of the late Henry and Agnes (Bockes) Bittner.  She was
  preceded in death by a son, John, in 1972. Her death terminates a
  marriage of 59 years.
    Surviving are her husband, George E. Marker, Rockwood RD 1; two
  sons, Jack C. and George E. Marker, both of Rockwood RD 1; eight
  grandchildren; two brothers, Hubert Bittner, of Roseville, Mich.; and
  Philson Bittner, Canton, Ohio; and a sister, Mrs. Blanche Decker of
  Berlin.
    Funeral service was conducted Saturday afternoon in William J. Wood
  Funeral Home, with Rev. Edward Cauffiel officiating.  Interment,
  Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
