Marker, 65, of Somerset RD 8 died Jan. 9, 1990, at his residence. Born March 17, 1924, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, son of the late Charles Elmer and Bessie Irene (Cameron) Marker. Also preceded in death by a brother, George. Survived by wife, the former Gwendolyn M. Frazee, and these children: John W., married to the former Marty Sarver, Somerset RD 8, and Mrs. Joe (Darla) Perez, Somerset; grandchildren: Melissa, Megan and Sara Marker; Misty Potter and Joseph and Mia Perez. Brother of Galen R. Marker, Somerset. Retired inspector for B & O Railroad and veteran of U.S. Army, World War II. Attended Somerset Alliance Church. Member of V.F.W. Post 554. Friends received 2-4:30 p.m. and 6:30-9 p.m. today at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, the Rev. Melvin E. Vance officiating. Interment, Kingwood I.O.O.F.
