MARKER Mrs. Emma Mankamyer Marker, age 74, died at her home in South Rockwood on Sunday evening March 6. She was the widow of John Marker who died eight years ago. She was born in Black Township, May 7, 1874, the daughter of the late Adolph and Louise Heining Mankamyer. The following children survive: George Marker, Rockwood; Ira Marker, Boswell; Mrs. Dan Critchfield, Meyersdale; nine grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. David Miller, Somerset; Mrs. Jones Christner, Torrington, Wyo.; Mrs. ?. G. Sufall, Akron, O.; Mrs. C. O. Meyers, South Connellsville; Dennis Mankamyer, Cumberland, Md. Funeral service was held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Church of the Brethren in Rockwood. The Rev. W. F. Berkebile officiated, and burial, under direction of Mills & Mickey, was made in Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, March 10, 1949
