Marker, 78, of Berlin, died July 24, 1996, at Somerset Hospital. Born April 30, 1918, in Elk Lick Township. Daughter of John A. and Minerva (Spangler) Wisler. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Everett L. Marker; brothers, Ernest and Harry Wisler; sisters, Erma Wisler and Hazel Hittie. Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend of children: Faye, married to Edward Sipe, Rockwood RD 3, and Kenneth, married to the former Carol Rings, Berlin; grandchildren: Amy Jo, married to James Stout; Mark E. Sipe; Cathy, married to Darrin Gaudlip; and Woody Marker, married to Christal Wright; great-grandchildren; Joshua L. Broucher, Bethany A. and Katelyn E. Stout and Zachary M. Sipe. Sister of Ray Wisler and George Wisler, both of Berlin; twin sister, Hilda Smearman, Meyersdale RD 4; Velma Zimmerman, Meyersdale RD 3; and Mary Zimmerman, Salisbury; also numerous nieces and nephews. She was retired employee of Snyders of Berlin and was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Pine Hill. Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, with Rev. Gene J. Abel officiating.
