Born Aug. 24, 1950, in Confluence, a son of Daniel Roy and Gwendolyn Mae (Frazee) Marker. Preceded in death by father. Survived by mother, Somerset; wife, the former Martha B. Sarver, to whom he was married 20 years; daughters, Melissa Marker, Philadelphia, Megan and Sara Marker, both of Markleton. Brother of Mrs. Chalmers (Darla) Pritts, Rockwood. Member of Kingwood Church of God. A 1968 graduate of Somerset High School. U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam. He had worked for the U.S. Postal Service and was also a member of VFW Post 554 and the NRA. Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will be conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. James L. Monticue officiating.
