MATILDA MARKER

  Mrs. Matilda Burkholder Marker, 75, widow of Seward Walker, died last Thursday 
at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Marker of 
Garrett, R.D. 1.  She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Noah Burkholder and lived 
all her life in Somerset County.
  Three children survive: Mrs. Archie Benford, Rockwood; Milton C. and Bryan 
Marker, Garrett, R.D.  Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and six great-
grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:15 p.m. at the Center Lutheran Church, 
the pastor, Rev. John S. Hoestine, officiating.  Burial in the church cemetery.
