Marker, 65, of Garrett went home to be with the Lord July 14, 1999, at Meyersdale Medical Center. He was born Aug. 24, 1933, in Summit Township, son of Milton and Mabel (Marker) Marker. Preceded in death by parents and a sister, Mary Lenhart. Survived by his wife, Nancy (Metheney) Marker; a daughter, Linda, married to Richard Grimes of Rockwood; and two loving grandsons, Jeremy and Daniel Grimes. Also survived by sisters: Dorothy Marker, Mamie Estnick and Rosalie Metheney, all of Garrett, and brothers, Robert and Oscar of Garrett and Dale of New Paris. He was a very devoted and loving husband and father and a faithful member of the Old Bethel Church of Markleton. Friends will be received at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, today 7-9 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the Old Bethel Church, with the Rev.
