(Ick) Marker, 60, Boswell RD 2, died July 9, 1984, at home. Born Sept. 28, 1923, in Rockwood, son of Ira and Clella (Glessner) Marker. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by widow, former Dorothy McClellan; and three sons: Ray, married to former Betty Gibson, Friedens RD 1; Paul, married to former Charolette Grine; and Lee, married to former Candace Frampton, both of Boswell RD 2; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Brother of Burdella Barclay, Mercer; and Fred, Somerset. Member of Jenner Rod and Gun Club, National Rifle Association, VFW Post No. 554 Somerset, American Legion Post No. 257 Stoystown, and Somerset County Oldtimers Baseball Association. Army veteran of World War II. Served with 104th Infantry Division (Timber Wolves). Owned and operated Marker's Garage, Boswell RD 2. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Joseph M. Beer. Interment, Beam Cemetery.
