  LAURA E. MARKLE
    
    Laura E. Markle, 85, of Centralia, Ill., formerly of Confluence,
  died Feb. 27, 1973. Born Aug. 4, 1887, in Rochester, she was a
  daughter of Charles and Mary (Shupert) Marquart.
    She is survived by a daughter, Dr. Mary K. Markle, of Centralia,
  Ill.; a granddaughter, a grandson and a brother, Fred Marquart, of
  Confluence.
    Funeral service was conducted Saturday afternoon in Humbert Funeral
  Home, Confluence, with Rev. Gordon N. Edwards officiating. Interment
  in Addison Cemetery.
