Marsin, 91, of Hooversville died Feb. 23, 2002 at Monongahela Valley Hospital, Monongahela. Born July 20, 1910 in Johnstown, she was the daughter of Steven and Helen Kolson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Michael, and a son Michael Jr. She is survived by a daughter, Gloria M. Poling, Mentor-Lake, Ohio; four grandchildren, Diane Abrahamsen, Humble, Texas; Ronald M. Poling, East Lake, Ohio; Dr. Timothy R. Poling, Jacksonville, Fla.; Jacqueline A. Poling, Mentor-Lake, Ohio; six great-grandchildren; and a beloved friend Roni Sue (Zbrovancik) Coughenour. She was the former owner of Marsin Tavern, and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, both of Hooversville. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville, with a Vigil for the deceased at 3:45 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church, with Rev. Romulus Rosolowski, OFM as celebrant. Committal, Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, Hooversville. Memorial contributions may be sent to Holy Family Catholic Church, Sugar St., Hooversville, Pa. 15936.
