  GEORGE MARTEENY
  
    George E. Marteeny, 66, Somerset RD 6, died April 2, 1977, in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Nov. 26, 1910, in Somerset
  Township, he was a son of the late Chauncey S. and Emma J. (Glessner)
  Marteeny.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Helen Barron and these
  children: Mrs. Harold (Lois) Male, Reston, Va.; Robert, Somerset RD
  3; William, Somerset RD 6; and eight grandchildren.  He is a brother
  of Mrs. Mary Kimmel, Berlin RD 1; and Harold, Berlin.
    He was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Lavansville and
  Somerset Lodge IOOF, a retired farmer and had been a member of
  various agricultural organizations.  Friends were received in the
  Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where services were conducted with the
  Rev. Walter L. Startzel officiating.  Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.
