  MARTEENY
  
    Harold Chauncey "Short" Marteeny, 80, of Berlin died Aug. 2, 1999,
  at Somerset Hospital.  Born Aug. 8, 1918, in Somerset Township.  Son
  of the late Chauncey S. and Emma Jane (Glessner) Marteeny.  Also
  preceded in death by wife, Dorothy A. (Weigle) Marteeny, who died
  April 8, 1999; a son, Fred A. Marteeny; a brother, George E.
  Marteeny, and a sister, Mary Kimmel.  Survived by these daughters:
  Mrs. R. Landis (Judy) Coffman of Pickerington, Ohio; Mrs. James W.
  (Peggy) Sechler of Sechler Road, Somerset, and Mrs. Jerry L.
  (Barbara) Ogline, Mechanicsburg; also 4 grandchildren: Christian and
  Craig Coffman, Brett Sechler and Jill Ogline, and special friend and
  companion, Fern Stahl of Kingwood.  Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran
  Church, Berlin.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Wednesday (today) at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services
  will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Melvin A. Kirk
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. 
  Contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 525 Main
  St., Berlin, Pa. 15530 or to the Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 1590 N.
