  MARTEENY
  
    Helen Elizabeth Marteeny, 88, of Somerset died Sept. 4, 2000 at
  Patriot Manor, Somerset.  Born June 20, 1912 in Somerset Township. 
  Daughter of Ira Luther and Edith Matilda (Bowman) Barron.  Preceded
  in death by parents, husband George Edmund Marteeny who died April 2,
  1977; son Robert Eugene Marteeny, granddaughter Karen Jean Marteeny,
  brothers Robert A. and Dean Barron and sister Ruth Yarrison. 
  Survived by children: Mrs. Harold (Lois) Male of Reston, Va.; William
  D. Marteeny married to the former Constance "Connie" Barnett of
  Friedens, daughter-in-law D. Jean Marteeny of Somerset, seven
  grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  Sister of Mrs. Floy
  McClintock of Somerset, and Mrs. Dale (Delores) Cramer of New
  Centerville.  Member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Lavansville and
  a 1929 graduate of Somerset High School.  Friends will be received 2
  to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. 
  Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Calvary
  Lutheran Church, Lavansville, Rev. Edward W. Ebersole officiating. 
  No viewing at the church.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial
  Park.  Contributions may be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 3903
  Glades Pike, Somerset, Pa. 15501.
