Martell, 73, of Geneva, Ohio, formerly of Boswell, died Aug. 19, 1977, at Ashtabula General Hospital, Ohio. Born June 25, 1904 in Seanor, son of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Martell. Preceded in death by parents and wife the former Madeline C. Lees, who died Feb. 6, 1966, and a sister Marie Benna. Survived by three daughters: Regina, wife of Robert White, Albion, Pa.; Shirley, wife of Ellwood Clark; and Madeleine, wife of Frank Gillette, both of Geneva, Ohio. 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Was a brother of Alfred and Russell both of Windlier, Pa.; Kenneth, Conneautville, Pa., and Clair, of Farrell; and Alma, Ravenscraft, Windber. Attended St. John's Lutheran Church, Geneva, member of UMW of A and Fraternal Order of Eagles, former employe [sic] of Stoughton Lake, Jennerstown. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Jesse E. Wolf, officiating.
