  JERRY D. MARTENEY
  
    Jerry D. Marteney, 41, of Berwyck Drive, Akron, Ohio, died November
  10 at the Akron City Hospital after a two-year illness.
    He was born in Akron, was a 1956 graduate of Ellet High School, had
  been a member of Oak Hill United Presbyterian Church, and served in
  the Ohio National Guard.  He retired in April from Universal
  Precision Products.  Formerly he was owner of the Sunoco Station at
  Canton and Mogadore Rds., and prior to that was affiliated with the
  Shell Service Station at Massillon Rd. and Market Street.
    He is survived by his wife, Anna; son, Mark Edward; daughters,
  Cheryl Lynn and Jennifer Ruth, all at home; and parents, Mr. and Mrs.
  Carl Marteney of Akron, formerly of Meyersdale.
    Funeral services were held at the Hopkins Funeral Home with Dr. C.
  Vincent Wilson officiating.  Burial Hillside Memorial Park.  The
  family suggests memorials be given to the Akron District Heart
  Association.
