  RUTH E. MARTENEY
  
    Ruth E. Marteney, 75, of 2596 Graham Ave., died June 8, 1981, at
  Akron City Hospital, Ohio.
    She was born in Meyersdale, and had lived in Akron since 1927.
    She is survived by husband, Carl; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Anna
  Marteney of Akron; grandchildren, Mark, Cheryl, and Jennifer, all of
  Akron; and brothers, Robert and Arthur Shumaker, both of Meyersdale,
  Rev. Paul Shumaker of Greenville, Pa.
    She was employed with the Neisner Brothers Store, formerly located
  in Akron, for ten years.  She was a member of the Oak Hill United
  Presbyterian Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years
  and was active in various church activities.
    Funeral services were held Thursday, at the Hopkins Funeral Home,
  547 Canton Rd., Akron.  Interment Hillside Memorial Park.
