  MARTENEY
  
    Simon L. Marteney, 86, of Meyersdale RD 1, died Feb. 24, 1995, at
  home.  Born March 12, 1908, in Summit Township, a son of the late
  Elias, and Olive (Folk) Marteney, also preceded in death by his wife,
  Anna E. Brown, in 1983.  Survived by these children: Jack of
  Crossville, Tenn., Paul E. of Meyersdale, and Nancy, wife of Melvin
  Shaffer of Berlin; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. 
  Retired farmer, member of Meyersdale Church of the Brethren, Loyal
  Order of the Moose, Grantsville Bowling League and a life member of
  Somerset County Fair Board. Family suggests contributions may be made
  to favorite charity. Arrangements in charge of Leckemby Funeral Home
  are incomplete.

    Services for Simon L. Marteney, who died Feb. 24, 1995, will be
  held at 2 p.m. Monday (today) at Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale. 
  Interment, Union Cemetery.
