  BETTY L. MARTIN
  
    Betty L. Martin, 67, of Rockwood RD 1, died Sept. 28, 1995, at
  Meyersdale Medical Center.  Born May 29, 1928, in Black Township. 
  Daughter of the late John and Martha (Pritts) Kendall.  Preceded in
  death by her brother, Junior.  Survived by her daughter, Virginia,
  married to James Peters of Altoona; a son, John Martin, Rockwood Rd
  1, and two step-granddaughters, Jessica and Jaimee Peters.  Sister of
  Mrs. Paul (Shirley) Miller of Friedens RD 2.  Also survived by a
  niece, Phyllis Conner, and nephews, Paul Jr. and David Miller.  A
  former employee of Rockwood Insurance Co.  A life member of the
  ladies auxiliary of the Rockwood Fire Department.  Friends will be
  received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday (today) at the Wilbur D.
  Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where the funeral service will be
  conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, with Rev. Wayne Sautter officiating. 
  Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
