  EARL W. MARTIN
  
    Earl W. Martin, 51, of Lakeville, Indiana, died April 7, 1986, at
  South Bend Memorial Hospital, after being seriously ill for six
  months.
    He was born May 27, 1934, in Meyersdale, a son of George and Emma
  (Jackson) Martin.  He had resided in the Lakeville area for 26 years.
    He is survived by his wife Patricia (Danner) Martin; a son, Larry
  D. Martin, of Bremen, Ind.; a daughter, Linda E. Martin, of
  Lakeville, Ind.; one grandson and two brothers, George and Glenn,
  both of Meyersdale RD 3.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Edgar.
    He was a bulk oil and gas truck driver for Bellman Amoco Oil Co.,
  of Bremen, Indiana.  He attended Grace Fellowship Church, St. Joseph
  County.
    Services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. April 9, at the Community
  Gospel Church, Bremen, Indiana with Pastor Robert Hueni officiating,
  using the Scripture from Ecclesiastes 7:1 "A good name is better than
  precious ointment; and the day of death, than the day of birth."
    Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen, Ind. was in charge of arrangements.
