    Geraldine Virginia "Mickey" Martin, 81, of Somerset, formerly of
  Port Charlotte, Fla., died April 12, 1999, at the Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Aug. 8, 1917 in Sand Patch, Larimer Township,
  Somerset County, a daughter of John William "Emery" and Mary
  (Garlitz) Younkin.  Preceded in death by parents; first husband,
  Donald Davies Newcomer, who died in November 1960; second husband,
  Jack Lowell Martin, who died March 3, 1987, and sister, Georgia Marie
  Younkin.  Survived by these children: Mrs. Douglas I. (Deborah) Miller
  of Somerset; Mrs. Paul (Gwendolyn) Ankney of Hilton Head S.C.; Donald
  D. Newcomer of Somerset.  Also survived by grandchildren, Douglas E.
  Miller of Somerset; Paul D. Newcomer of Mullica Hill N.J.; David S.
  Miller, of Somerset; Jamie L. Newcomer of Wenonah, N.J., and
  great-grandchildren: Ryan A. Miller and Summer J. Newcomer.  Sister
  of Mrs. Gertrude E. Donaldson of Somerset.  Also survived by two
  nephews: Gerald Emery Christner, of Palm Harbor, Fla., and George
  Wayne Christner of North Canton, Ohio.  1935 graduate of Rockwood
  High School.  Member of First Christian Church, American Legion Post
  181 Auxiliary.  First Pa. State President of Fraternal Order of
  Eagles Auxiliary.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  today at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be
  conducted 10 a.m., Thursday, with Pastor Daniel F. Nicksich
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
