  MARTIN
  
    James Oscar Martin Jr., 58, died Jan. 1, 1995, at the Bridgeport
  Hospital in Bridgeport, Conn.   Born April 25, 1936, in Cumberland,
  Md.  Son of the late James O. Martin Sr. and Columbia Malone
  Martin.  He was an Army Veteran and worked for Exxon Corp.  Survived
  by his wife, Georgia Stephens Martin; two sons: Tony S. Martin of
  Oakton, Va., and James O. Martin III of Somerset; one daughter: Lisa
  Marie Darrell of Jacksonville, Fla.; brother: Dennis O. Martin of
  Ocala, Fla.; sister: Frances Moore of Baltimore, Md., and one
  grandchild.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Thursday at the Leasure-Stein Funeral Home, Cumberland, Md.  Litany
  for the departed will be recited at 8:30 p.m.  Funeral services will
  be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Cross Episcopal Church,
  Cumberland.  Rev. George Pruitt Jr. will officiate.  Interment, Rocky
  Gap Veterans Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made
  to American Cancer Society.
