  JOHN G. MARTIN
  
    John G. Martin, 65, of Gore, Va., died Sunday, May 25, 1986, at the
  Winchester, Va., Medical Center.
    Born Feb. 5, 1901 in Mineral County, West Virginia, he was a son of
  the late John B. Martin and Martha (Bowman) Martin.
    He was retired from the Virginia Highway Department.  His wife,
  Isora (Brown) Martin, died in 1981.
    He is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Viola Carpenter, Gore; Mrs.
  Mamie Lou Cain and Mrs. Betty Jean Neurdenburg, both of Kingsport,
  Tenn.; three sisters: Mrs. Mary Parish, Keyser, W.V.; Mrs. Lucy
  Wiland, Grantsville, Md.; and Mrs. Ida Spencer, Fort Ashby; 11
  grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
    Services were conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Fairview
  Lutheran Church near Gore by the Rev. Herman Goede.  Interment,
  church cemetery.
    Friends were received at the Griffin Funeral Home.
