Born Aug. 2, 1922 in Lavansville, Somerset Township. Daughter of Chauncey Israel and Laura Ellen (Gross) Friedline. Preceded in death by parents, husband Clifford Albert Martin who died Sept. 18, 1995; two sons, Clifford Martin Jr. and Neil Friedline Martin, two grandsons, Christopher Ohler, and Justin Martin; sisters, Gertrude Will, Violet Martin, Mabel Martin, Anna Will, Pearl Morgan, and brother Clyde F. Friedline. Survived by children, Mrs. Roger L. (Carol) Foor of Berlin; Mrs. Kenneth J. (Debbie) Reed Sr., of Friedens, Mrs. James L. (Charlene) Coulter of Berlin, Ms. Denise L. Martin and companion Kenneth Nist of Berlin, Daniel C. Martin of Somerset, David W. Martin Sr., of Somerset, Mrs. Bryan (Renee) Ohler of Somerset, and Mark A. Martin of Berlin. Also 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Sister of Chauncey Friedline of Berlin and Mrs. Charles (Ethel) Tataleba. Member of Faith Lutheran Church. A 1940 graduate of Somerset High School. Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset. Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Faith Lutheran Church, Somerset, Rev. Kenneth M. Diable officiating. There will be viewing at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
