  MARTIN
  
    Melvin F. Martin, 88, of Somerset RD 5 died Aug. 15, 1995, in
  Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate.  Born Feb. 20, 1907, in Stonycreek
  Township.  Son of the late Daniel and Charlotte (Kraft) Martin.  Also
  preceded in death by his wife, Mabel (Friedline); one son, Neil; four
  sisters and two brothers.  Survived by three daughters: Mrs. Shelly
  Ream, Somerset RD 5; Sandy Borgman and Romaine Irons, both of
  California; one son, Dwaine Martin, Listie.  Nine grandchildren, four
  great-grandchildren.  One brother, Walter of Friedens.  Retired farmer
  and cattle dealer.  Member of Faith Lutheran Church.  There will be no
  visitation at the request of the deceased.  Graveside funeral services
  at 3 p.m. Thursday in Wills Cemetery, Pastor Lynn M. Sanner
  officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Somerset
  In Touch Hospice or Faith Lutheran Church.  Arrangements in the
  charge of the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset.
