Born June 7, 1916 in Champion a daughter of the late Leroy and Emma Geary Hostetler Sr. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James H. Martin; a sister, Thelma Hostetler; a brother Leroy Hostetler, Jr., six other infant brothers, a daughter-in-law Ida Jean Macdonald Martin and a brother-in-law Kenneth Hostetler. Nanna is survived by her two loving sons, James R. Martin of Melcroft and Roy D. Martin and his wife Patricia Rimel Martin of Lakeland, Fla.; five grandchildren, James H. Martin II of Melcroft, Nancy Kister of Stahlstown, Rock A. Martin of Melcroft, Dennis Ray Martin of Erie and Robert M. Hughey of Stahlstown; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lorraine Salmon of Wilkinsburg and a sister-in-law Angie Hostetler of Minn. Nanna was a longtime resident of Jones Mills. She was member of the Saltlick Township Volunteer Fire Dept.; Ladies Auxiliary and St. Raymond of the Mountain Roman Catholic Church in Donegal. Family and friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home Inc. Route 711, Melcroft. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the St. Raymond of the Mountain R.C. Church, Donegal with the Rev. John Harrold as celebrant.
