The body was badly mangled. The deceased formerly resided in Garrett, but has been making his home in Hyndman for the last few years. He is survived by his wife and one son, who reside in Hyndman. He is also survived by one brother. Coroner Robert Huff, of Saxton, conducted an inquest, and returned a verdict of accidental death, after which the body was brought to Meyersdale and prepared for burial by Undertaker J. L. Tressler. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, in the Garrett Church of the Brethren. The Rev. George Detweiler, pastor of the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren, officiated.
