  MARTS
  
    Edward J. Marts, 77, of South Somerset Street, Stoystown, died Nov.
  5, 1998, at his residence.  Born March 12, 1921, in East McKeesport,
  Pa., the son of Michael Haymaker and Mary Elizabeth (Irvin) Marts. 
  Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Floyd, Lee and Joseph Marts,
  and sisters, Marie Marts, Edna Marts, Margaret Clark and Ruth
  Rankin.  Survived by wife, the former Alice H. Lennon, to whom he was
  married 52 years, and these children: Larry E. Marts, married to the
  former Bonnie Weaver of Marts Road, Friedens; Mrs. William W. (Lynne)
  Tomlinson of Ivyland, Pa.; and Dan L. Stoner of Plank Road,
  Hooversville; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  Brother of
  Mrs. Mary Martinek of Cabot, Pa., and close friend of Pat Buffey of
  Hooversville.  Member of Kantner United Methodist Church.  US Army
  veteran of World War II.  Former co-owner of Stoystown Tank &
  Steel.  Private services at the convenience of the family with the
  Rev. Dr. Arthur J. Gotjen and Rev. Jason L. McQueen officiating. 
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions may be made
  to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 1590 North Center Ave., Somerset, Pa.
  15501.  Arrangements by Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home.
