  MARTZ
  
  Alvey Curtis Martz, 82, of Meyersdale RD 3 died Dec. 3 in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  He was born March 21, 1890, in Scottdale the son
  of the late Lincoln A. Martz and Laura Berger Martz.  He is survived
  by his wife Edna Howsare; three sons, Thurman of South Shore, Ky.;
  Ray of Prospect; and Alvey Jr. of Canton, Ohio; two daughters Mrs.
  Aline Pride of Morgantown, W.Va., and Miss Betty Martz of Meyersdale
  RD 3; two step-children, Vernon Howsare of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Alma
  Bahr of Akron, Ohio; two brothers, William Martz of York and Homer
  Martz of Cumberland, Md.; two sisters Mrs. Elma Lane and Mrs. Bessie
  Boyer, both of Glencoe; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.  He
  was a veteran of World War I, a member of Company C and a member of
  the Berlin Odd Fellows Lodge.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m.
  today in the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale where services will be
  conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Paul Snyder.  Interment in
  Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
