BENJAMIN S. MARTZ

  Benjamin S. Martz, 72, died Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 10, 1942, at his home in 
Berlin following an illness of three months.  He was a son of Herman and Lena 
(Bittner) Martz.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rose Martz, and these 
brothers and sisters: Lincoln Martz and Wilson Martz of Glencoe; Lucinda, wife 
of Walter Miller, Cumberland, Md.; Carrie, wife of William Beal, Berlin, R.D.; 
Tracy, wife of Elam Poorbaugh, Mt. Pleasant.
  He was a member of the Evangelical church.
  The funeral service will be at his late home Friday at 2 p.m.  Interment will 
be in Berlin I.O.O.F. cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Son.
