    Catherine R. Martz, 90, of Somerset, formerly of Berlin and Lavale,
  Md., died March 1, 1995, at Patriot Manor.  Born July 19, 1904, in
  Stonycreek Township, daughter of Irvin and Malissa (Glessner)
  Brant.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Harry; brothers: John,
  Willard, George and Charles Brant; sisters: Anna Pyle, Ruth Maguire
  and Mary Grace Brant.  Survived also by numerous nieces, nephews,
  great-nieces and great-nephews.  Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran
  Church, Berlin.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Friday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be
  held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Melvin A. Kirk Jr.  Interment, Berlin
  IOOF Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be given to Somerset "In
  Touch" Hospice, Somerset, PA 15501, or American Cancer Society, South
  Lynn Avenue, Somerset, Pa. 15501.
