She was born Sept. 20, 1918, in Summit Township, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Martha (Gnagey) Schrock. Also preceded in death by children, Jerry and Alice, and brothers, Harry and Milton. Survived by her husband of 58 years, Ralph C. Martz; loving daughters Faye Ann, married to Joseph Grew, Somerset, and Carolyn Martha, married to Philip Coldwell, of Martinez, Ga.; 4 precious grandchildren: Melanie Grew, Kristine Grew Longwell, Charles Grew and Melissa Coldwell. Also a great granddaughter, Berca Kathryn Longwell and a sister, Mildred Nicklow of Garrett. Florence and Ralph worked together on their farm for many years. They loved God, family and friends. They enjoyed retirement and trips to Germany and Florida. Florence was a deacon of the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren and a member of Farm Women. Friends will be received at Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and on Friday from 1 to 3 p.m., the time of the service, with Pastor Eric Longwell officiating.
