  Harry F. Martz Sr., 83, Los Alamos, N.M., formerly of LaVale, Md.,
  died Jan. 3 in Los Alamos.  Born Dec. 13, 1904 in Salisbury, son of
  the late Harry C. and Clara (Enfield) Martz.  Preceded in death by
  wife, Verda Long.  Survived by son, Harry Jr., of Los Alamos, three
  grandchildren, one brother, Hubert of Cresaptown, Md.  Member of the
  LaVale Methodist Church and retired electrical engineer.  Graveside
  service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jack George in Union
  Cemetery, Meyersdale, under the direction of Leckemby Funeral Home.
