  MARTZ
  
    Harvey H. Martz, 96, of Berlin, died Aug. 24, 1999, at Meyersdale
  Medical Center.  Born July 25, 1903, in Johnsburg.  Son of Charles
  and Nettie (Miller) Martz.  Preceded in death by parents and sister,
  Mrs. Merle (Edna) Hillegass.  Survived by wife of 66 years, the
  former Mary Lowry; daughter, Frances, married to Ronald Bockes,
  Berlin, and granddaughter, Amanda Bockes, Berlin.  Served in U.S.
  Army.  Former B&O Railroad fireman.  Retired auto mechanic.  Member
  of United Brethren Fair's Church.  Associated with Berlin Brethren
  Church.  Lifetime member of Somerset Aerie 1801, Fraternal Order of
  Eagles. Avid gardener.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7
  to 9 p.m., Wednesday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service
  will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Owen H. Preston. 
  Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
