  Jack L. Martz, 59, Ellijay, Ga., formerly of Somerset, died Jan. 16,
  1987, at his home.  Born July 12, 1927, in Somerset, son of Lucy M.
  (Critchfield) and Paul C. Martz Sr.  Preceded in death by father and
  son Jack in 1980.  Survived by mother, wife Marge, daughter Ruth Hale
  and grandsons, Zachary and Eli.  Sister Vivian Harkcom, Cocoa, Fla.,
  and brothers, Bill and Paul Jr. of Somerset.  Retired employee of
  Florida Power and Light Co.  Veteran of U.S. Navy, WW II and U.S.
  Army, Korean War.  Life member of VFW Post 554, Somerset.  Burial
  will be Jan. 18 in Mount Vernon Cemetery.  Arrangements in charge of
  Bernhardt Funeral Home, Ellijay, Ga.
