  MARTZ
  
  Mary Jane Martz, 65, West Fairview St., Somerset, died March 7, 1984,
  in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Feb. 11, 1919, in Somerset,
  daughter of the late William W. and Minnie E. (Weaver) Nichol.  Also
  preceded by brothers Edward and Ray.  Survived by her husband,
  Russell W.; one brother, John H. Nichol, Somerset RD 5; four nieces
  and one nephew.  She was a member of the Grace United Methodist
  Church.  Retired co-owner of the former Martz Gift Shop.  Friends
  will be received after 7 p.m. Thursday (today) in Robert H. Halverson
  Funeral Home where service will be conducted Saturday at 1:30 p.m.,
  the Rev. H. Wayne Beam.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
