    Mary L. Martz, 89, of Berlin, died July 20, 2000, at Meadowview
  Nursing Center, Berlin.  Born Dec. 2, 1910, in Berlin, daughter of
  Francis E. and Amanda Jane (Sarver) Lowry.  Preceded in death by
  parents, husband Harvey H. and daughter, Frances M. Bockes.  Survived
  by granddaughter Amanda "Mandy" Bockes of Berlin; son-in-law Ronald
  "Bunny" Bockes of Berlin; nephew Charles Hillegas of Freeholt, N.J.;
  and nieces Fae Mitchell of Erie, Dorothy Mostoller and Helen Walker,
  both of Somerset, Jean Hillegas of Hendersonville, S.C., Thelma Gohn
  of Lambertsville, Shirley Einig of Lewisburg, Kay Blough of New
  Freedom and Donna Antenucci of Mechanicsburg.  Former school
  teacher.  Member of Berlin Brethren Church.  Family will receive
  friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Berlin, where service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Owen H.
  Preston officiating.  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.  In lieu
  of flowers, contributions may be given to Berlin Brethren Church,
  Berlin, Pa., 15530.
