  MARTZ
  
    Ralph Calvin Martz, 91, formerly of Salisbury, died Aug. 12, 2000,
  in Martinez, Ga.  Born July 9, 1909 in Meyersdale, a son of the late
  William and Annie (Liphart) Martz.  Preceded in death by wife,
  Florence (Schrock) Martz on June 10, 1998, two infants, son Jerry and
  daughter, Mary Alice, brother, Harry Martz, sisters Edna Handwerk, and
  Florence Wetmiller.  Survived by two daughters, Faye Ann, wife of
  Joseph Grew, Somerset and Carolyn Martha, wife of Philip Caldwell,
  Martinez, Ga.; grandchildren Melanie Grew, Coral Springs, Fla.;
  Kristine (Grew), wife of Eric Longwell, Hanover, Pa.  Charles and his
  wife, Lynne (Runkle) Grew, Mechanicsburg, Melissa Caldwell, Chapel
  Hill, N.C. and great-granddaughters Berea and Anna Longwell.  He was
  a retired farmer.  Member of the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren. 
  Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Leckemby Funeral
  Home, Meyersdale, where the funeral service will be 11 a.m.
  Tuesday.  Pastor Eric Longwell officiating.  Interment, Union
  Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Meyersdale Church of
  the Brethren.
