  MARTZ
  
  Mrs. Verda G. Martz, 76, Los Alamos, N.M., formerly of LaVale, Md.,
  died Dec. 3, 1986, in Los Alamos.  Born May 9, 1910, in Meyersdale,
  daughter of the late Charles and Clara (Hoyman) Long.  Survived by
  her husband, Harry Sr., and a son, Harry Jr., both of Los Alamos;
  three grandchildren; three brothers and a sister: Mrs. June Walker,
  Meyersdale; Charles, Cumberland, Md.; Dan, Acosta; and Paul, Winter
  Haven, Fla.  Member of the LaVale Methodist Church.  Graveside
  service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Union Cemetery, with
  the Rev. Jack George officiating.  Arrangements under the direction
  of the Leckemby Funeral Home.
