  MARUCA
  
    John Maruca, 90, of Gray died the morning of Jan. 20, 1993, at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Feb. 16, 1902, in Jefferson County, Pa.  Son
  of Michael and Antoinette Maruca.  Preceded in death by parents,
  sisters, Mary Maruca and Litizia Raymond, and brothers, Dominic and
  Frank.  Survived by his wife, the former Mary Pasquini, and children:
  Lucy, wife of Sam Rascona, Somerset; Francis, married to Judith
  Jenkins, Johnstown; Michael, married to Deanna Meyers, Warren, Ohio,
  and Evelyn, wife of Guy Vincent, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.  Also 13
  grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two sisters in Italy. 
  Member of St. John's Catholic Church, Acosta; UMWA Local 1742,
  Jenners; Boswell Lodge 1780, Sons of Italy.  Retired coal miner. 
  Observed 58th wedding anniversary April 14, 1992.  Friends will be
  received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main
  Street, Boswell, where wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday,
  followed by SOI memorial service.  Mass of Christian Burial at 10
  a.m. Friday at St. John's Church, Rev. Father Raymond Carr
  officiating.  Interment, St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Boswell.
