Born Aug. 22, 1918, Jennings, Md., she was a daughter of the late Fred and Leattie (Hoover) Stein. Preceded in death by her husband, Galen R. Mason, on Dec. 13, 1998; 2 sons, Eugene and Mansel; 2 brothers, Roy and Sylvan Stein, and a sister, Ruth Eisentrout. Mrs. Mason was a member of Maranatha Assembly of God and a homemaker. Survived by a son, Bradley L. Mason, Meyersdale, a daughter, Loretta F. Paul, Salisbury; a brother, Frank Stein, Grantsville, Md.; 4 sisters: Marguerite Deal, Manassas, Va.; Verna Twombly, Addison; Wilda Hollada, Fort Hill; Shirley Brinegar, Grantsville; also 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, P.A., Grantsville, Md., from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Maranatha Assembly of God, with the Rev. Joseph Snodgrass officiating. Interment, Salisbury Cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services.
