EMMA KNEPP MATHIAS

  Mrs. Emma (Knepp) Mathias, widow of the late John S. Mathias of Meyersdale, 
died at the home of her son, John Mathias of Moundsville, W.Va., where she had 
been visiting.  Her husband died here in 1941.
  Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Raymond Landis and Herbert Mathias 
of Meyersdale, and John Mathias mentioned above.  Also surviving are several 
grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Tillie Skidmore of Meyersdale.
  The body was brought to Meyersdale and funeral services were held at the home 
of the daughter, Mrs. Landis, on Broadway, at 2:30 Monday afternoon, with Rev. 
H. K. Hilner officiating.  Interment was made in Union Cemetery.  Funeral 
arrangements were in charge of H. R. Konhaus, mortician.
