  JOSEPH A. MATKOSKEY
  
    Joseph A. Matkoskey, 18, of Yonai Road, Berlin, formerly of Boswell
  and Acosta, died Aug. 30, 1998 in Quemahoning Township.  Born Feb. 8,
  1980 in Honolulu, Hawaii, son of Mrs. Allen (Linda) Sarver of Berlin
  and George J. Matkoskey of Acosta.  Preceded in death by paternal
  grandmother, Faye Matkoskey.  Also survived by son, Alexander James
  Matkoskey.  He was a brother of Jeffrey Matkoskey of Acosta and April
  Matkoskey of Berlin; half-brother of Shane Douglas Matkoskey, and
  stepbrother of Kayla and Codey Sarver; maternal grandparents Harvey
  and Emma Shippey of Acosta and paternal grandfather, John S.
  Matkoskey Sr. of Acosta.  A 1998 graduate of North Star High
  School.  He was employed by G & W Roofing of Eighty Four, Pa.  He
  attended Heritage Baptist Church.  Family will receive friends from
  2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where
  service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday.  Rev. Russell Kessler
  officiating.  Interment P.O.S. of A. Cemetery, Hooversville.
