  VERDA M. MATOVCIK
  
  Mrs. Verda M. Matovcik, 89, of North Jackson, Ohio, died July 22,
  2002, in Forum Northside Health Care Center.
    Verda was born Oct. 4, 1912, in Meyersdale, the daughter of Lloyd
  and Ann Jamine Stevanus Miller and came to this area (North Jackson)
  in 1992.
    She had worked for Thorafare 30 years retiring in 1975.  Her
  husband, Paul Matovcik, whom she married in 1980 died in 1996.
    Verda is survived by a son Eugene B. Miller and wife Jean of North
  Jackson; two granddaughters, Diane Bosley and Cindy Stennett and a
  great-granddaughter, Ashley Stennett.
    She was preceded in death by two sisters: Elsie Klink and Martha
  Roberts along with three brothers: Ralph, Clemond, and Howard Miller.
    Friends were received Wednesday, July 24, and Thursday, July 25,
  until time of service at 11 a.m. at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown 
  Chapel.
