Born Aug. 21, 1920, in Gray, son of Ignazio and Nellie (LaBue) Mattaliano. Preceded in death by parents and brothers, Matthew and Peter. Survived by wife, former Minnie Ida St.Clair, and these children: Paulette Flick, Rockwood; Terry, married to former Sally Brant, Michigan City, Ind., and Erma, wife of Joseph Perigo Jr., Boswell; grandchildren - Jeffrey, Melanie and Jody Perigo and Paul Coreen and Joyce Mattaliano. Brother of Josephine Magazzu, Boswell RD 2; Julia Cordoro and Nellie Lombardo, both of Trenton, N.J.; Helen, wife of Charles Richmond, Jackson, N.J., and Margaret, wife of James Sicheri, Somerset. Member of Mt. Laurel United Church of Christ, near Gray; church choir and Sunday school. Member and past treasurer of Beam Cemetery Association for many years. Also member of USWA and a retired employee of former Latrobe Steel Company. Coal miner and shoe repairman for many years. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main St., Boswell. Service at 11 a.m. Friday at Mt. Laurel Church, where viewing will also be held from 10 a.m. until time of service, Rev. Joseph M. Beer. Interment, Beam Cemetery. Memorials to Paul's church would be appreciated.
