  ELIZABETH ZONER MATTHEWS
  
    Elizabeth Zoner Matthews, 86, Somerset, died Jan. 18, 1993, at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Nov. 5, 1906, in Vienna, Austria, daughter
  of late Allowish and Milly Zoner.  Also preceded in death by husband,
  Somerset attorney and former Pennsylvania assistant attorney general
  Archibald Morgan Matthews on Sept. 30, 1983, and by daughter, Millie
  Eleanor Matthews.  Survived by daughters: Mrs. James (Elizabeth
  "Betsy") Vincent of Weston, Mass., and Mrs. Henk (Archelle "Buttons")
  Wolst of Sturgeon Bay, Wisc.; 4 grandchildren - Aimee Archelle
  Vincent, New York City, N.Y.; Christopher James Vincent, Weston,
  Mass.; Geoffrey Hoffman and Taylor Hoffman of Sturgeon Bay, Wisc. 
  Graduate of Edinboro State Teachers College.  First art teacher at
  Somerset High School.  Renowned Somerset County watercolor and oil
  artist.  Past president of Somerset County Artists Association. 
  Member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church.  Friends received from 2 to
  4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where
  service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with Rev. Keith M. Fink
  officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.  Family requests memorial
  contributions to Laurel Arts, 214 South Harrison Ave., Somerset, PA
