  MARY E. MATTHEWS
  
    Mary E. Matthews, 81, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Berlin, died Sept.
  16, 1980, at the Extended Care Facility of the Pittsburgh Health
  Center.
    She was born Nov. 19, 1898, in Northampton Twp., a daughter of the
  late Thomas and Isabelle (Bauman) Grimm.  She was also preceded in
  death by her husband, George Matthews, and two brothers.
    She is survived by a son, Harvey R. of Pittsburgh; four
  grandchildren; one great-grandchild.  She is survived by two sisters,
  Mrs. William (Nappie) Gindlesperger and Miss Mildred Grimm, both of
  Berlin.
    Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home,
  Berlin.  Other arrangements are incomplete.
