NANCY P. MATTHEWS

  Mrs. Nancy P. Matthews, 90, widow of James P. Matthews, of Canton, Ohio, died 
Monday at the home of her son, William Matthews, after an illness of four 
months.  She was a native of Terra Alta, W.Va.  The nonogenarian was a member of 
the Daughters of American Revolution.
  She is survived by two daughters and two sons, Mrs. Irene Rexford, San Diego, 
Cal., Mrs. Flora Bittner, Meyersdale, James P. and William Matthews, both of 
Canton, Ohio.  Also three grandchildren and one great-grandchild survive.
  The body was brought to the Price Funeral Home here, where services will be 
held Friday at 1 p.m. with burial in the Thomas cemetery at Markleysburg.  Rev. 
W. S. Benshoff, pastor of the Main St. Brethren Church will officiate.
