  GRACE E. MATTHIAS
  
    Grace E. Matthias, 85, of Meyersdale, died June 9, 1982, in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    She was born March 22, 1897, in Meyersdale, a daughter of the late
  Peter and Lydia (Bowser) Landis.  She was preceded in death by her
  husband, Herbert, in 1978.
    She is survived by three sons and one daughter: Glenn of
  Meyersdale; James of Cleveland, Ohio; Carl of Connellsville; and
  Betty, wife of James Lohr, Ambridge; seven grandchildren and six
  great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Grace Brethren Church.
    Friends were received at the Leckemby Funeral Home, where services
  were held with the Rev. Ray Davis officiating.  Interment, Union
  Cemetery.
