  JOE G. MATTIE
  
  Joe G. Mattie, 76, Friedens RD 1, died March 14, 1989, at his
  residence.  Born April 5, 1912, in Jenner Township, son of the late
  John and Barbara (Berta) Matte.  Also preceded in death by two
  sisters, Helen Rizak and Mary Matse, and three brothers, Andrew, John
  and George.  Survived by a brother-in-law, Nicholas Rizak, Indian
  Head, Md.  Retired coal miner.  Member of St. Michael's Catholic
  Church, Listie, and U.M.W.A.  Friends received 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.
  Thursday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home.  Mass will be held Friday at
  9 a.m., Monsignor Samuel Tomaselli officiating.  Interment, Listie
  Catholic Cemetery.  Wake service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday
  at the funeral home.
