  MAURER
  
    D. Jeanne Maurer, 62, of 849 26th St., Altoona, died at 6 a.m. Oct.
  30, 1993, at her residence following extended illness.  Retired as
  patient account representative from Altoona Hospital in 1992 after 4
  years of service.  Previously she had been employed as the office
  manager for Dr. T.C. Chestney.  She was born Sept. 24, 1931, in
  Altoona, daughter of Maurice C. and Dolores (Wilson) Schmittle.  On
  Aug. 30, 1952 in Altoona, she married Kenneth R. Maurer, who died
  Jan. 10, 1987.  Survived by mother, Altoona; these children: Daniel
  J., Altoona; David K., Concord, N.C.; Jeffrey L., Charlotte, N.C.;
  Beth M. Price, Charlotte, N.C.; Sally M. Capets, Huntersville, N.C.;
  7 grandchildren and sister, Sally A. Stoltz, Somerset.  Mrs. Maurer
  was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Altoona, where
  she was member of Christian Mothers, the Legion of Mary, the Adult
  Choir and the Resurrection Choir.  Also member of AARP.  1949
  graduate of Altoona Catholic High School and 1951 graduate of Mount
  Aloysius Junior College.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7
  to 9 p.m. Monday in the Warren H. Replogle Funeral Home, 2636 W.
  Chestnut Ave., Altoona.  Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Tuesday
  at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.  Entombment, Calvary Cemetery
  Mausoleum, Altoona.  Wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday in the
  funeral home.
